Kia ora Amira it is Kerri here. I absolutely love Toffee Pops (I even give them capital letters!). BUT I try not to have packets and packets of them - maybe a treat packet every now and then. Boring aye!
Hey there Rasputin Skywalker. I wonder what school you are at? So the lolly cake for you is the only slice that is worth being published aye! Maybe you could design a poster that only has lolly cake - and draw it from all different perspectives! Have you got your own fake Latin for this favourite of yours?
I think the toffee pop should be in the list because it fits with the theme of the other biscuits and slices, but all the others also fit, so I'm not sure anything should be replaced.
I vote that it deserves to be in the poster beacause I love toffee pops and and most people that I know have them in their household commonly. I always have toffee pops in my house, who else regularly has them?
The final week of #NZreadaloud for Term 2! It has flown by - but what an amazing set of texts we have studied and been inspired by. This week we look at 'Cosmic Pancakes' by Kelda Hains. The challenge at the end is this ... Don't worry if you go into next week with your Masterchef Pancake Bake-off. It would be fab to see some photos on the blog as you complete the activities. Here are a couple of my students' version of the poem "Wealth". Tracey Hunter Outram School Wealth by Mya Wealth can be counted, but in time not in dollars or things. Days since you ate a warm roast, hours since you last played basketball with your brothers or swimming in the cold Bannockburn lake, how recently you've been running down the court playing netball. camping how many weeks before you get to see cousins how long until you get to spend Christmas with your family again. Wealth by Will Wealth can be counted, but in time not in dollars or things. Days since you made a batch of steaming raspberry muffins hours since you lay on the sun absorbing the sun streaming in or sitting round the table feasting on a lamb roast with your family how recently you've finished a lego creation How many weeks before you get to play a game of Friday night hockey in the winter cold How long until you next lie on the grass staring up at the clouds.
